-Supported management with finances, meetings, and staff & client communication. Work included budgeting, auditing records, communicating with staff about scheduling and policy changes, responding to complaints, and supporting the General Manager, as well as providing training and support to incoming staff.

-Planning and managing events, including music and drag performances, book signings, movie screenings, film festivals, and premier events for DUNE, Sandman, and House of the Dragon.

Staff Writer & Personal Assistant

Melinda Snodgrass

September 2018 - Present

-Worked as a Staff Writer for PotLuck, a narrative ensemble drama by Alan Pezzuto and Melinda Snodgrass.

-Assisted project producers Elias Gallegos and Melinda Snodgrass with the pitch deck, location scouting, and planning for production. Worked with Melinda to review scripts before they were sent to Netflix, HBO, Peacock, and AMC, along with technical and general support for meetings, appointments, shopping, etc.

Mark Leibowitz & Radley Studios

January 2022 – Present

-Assisted Mark with day-to-day production needs, including on-set work as an AC and Grip, along with pre-production planning and packing equipment for YouTube VidCon Activation 2024-25, The Practice (series & live events), People Magazine Investigates, Various fashion and editorial shoots, and Ansel Adams Doc.

Rental house Intern, (intake/QC & Prep tech)

Rare Breeds, Los Angeles

May 2025 – August 2025

-Hands-on time with rental camera packages ranging from large ARRI and Sony packages to smaller doc and independent/student packages. Experience QCing and testing cameras, lenses, lighting, and camera support, and worked with the Rare Breeds team to get a vast working knowledge of equipment use and production planning.

Emerson Marketing Photography and Video

Emerson College

January 2024 – December 2025

-Assisted Emerson Productions and the Office of Marketing with photo and video coverage to fit the college's marketing needs. This included strobe and natural light headshots of all senior faculty, VPs, and Emerson's president, Dr. Bernhardt, along with live video and photo coverage of college events, classes, performances, and guest lectures.

Technical Support & Marketing Content

Nobechi Creative, Japan

April 2023 – May 2023

-Collaborated with the Nobechi team to support participants of the Nobechi workshops with Sam Able and Jane Atwood in Tokyo, Sendai, Aomori, Hakodate, and Akita.

-Coordinated lighting, projection, and audio for a lecture series in collaboration with the city of Karuizawa.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE

Photography: (See Instagram, @zubin_stillings) Experience with strobe-lit studio portraiture, outdoor adventure and field sports, theater and dance performances, portraits, landscapes, wildlife, location scouting, on-set/BTS, and street photography (6 years). Drone, airplane (Cessna 172), and helicopter (Robinson R44) shooting experience.

Cinematography: Head of camera and G&E departments on student, independent, and commercial productions. Collaborated with Directors and G&E teams to create camera and lighting to fit a wide variety of story needs. Built complex camera and lighting rigs in a variety of locations and conditions.
