Zubin Stillings is a photographer, cinematographer, director, and writer from Santa Fe, New Mexico, now working between Los Angeles and Boston while studying at Emerson College.

Growing up in a family of documentary and commercial photographers, Zubin picked up a camera at a young age. Over the years, that early spark turned into a deep love for storytelling through images, whether it's photography, directing, screenwriting, or working as a DP.

Zubin brings together teams of talented individuals with diverse skills, all working towards a shared vision. With crews of all sizes, he strives to deliver striking, story-driven visuals, grounded in a strong technical background in lighting, color science, and camera systems.

One of his recent projects, a music video for the song Entourage by Rhineharts, he directed and co-shot with a small, mostly first-time crew. It reminded him how much he loves leading and learning alongside others and how powerful it is when everyone feels valued on set.

He has shot for brands like YSL, Boggi Milano, and Polo Ralph Lauren; captured stage and dance productions; assisted mentors like George Nobechi and Mark Leibowitz; and worked on productions for YouTube, People Magazine, Radley Studios, and Emerson College. His work has earned recognition from the International Photography Awards and the Santa Fe Reporter, and he has been nominated for an EVVY Award twice. However, what matters most is the chance to keep growing alongside people who inspire him. 

His images feel cinematic and story-driven, with careful attention to contrast and light. He brings a photographic eye to every project, using his experience to create striking and meaningful visuals.

When he’s not behind the camera, you’ll find him hiking, traveling, or scribbling ideas and sketches into one of his notebooks.

Zubin is excited to keep pushing boundaries in editorial photography and narrative film and TV, especially in roles where teamwork and big ideas thrive.
